The Literacy Council of Carroll County held its 16th annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday August 22nd at the Quail Valley Golf Course in Littlestown, PA. The beautiful sunny day brought together twenty-five teams of golfers and numerous local businesses and literacy supporters for a successful day of fun and giving.
Proceeds from the tournament help us offer free, individual tutoring in areas such as improvement of reading, writing, and math skills; learning English or improving current English language skills; preparing for citizenship; further development of workforce/life skills; and general computer skills.
